1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScentBlend, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

ScentBlend is a fragrance layering application that allows users to:

• Browse and search a library of fragrances
• Build a personal collection of owned fragrances
• Create and save fragrance blend combinations
• Receive AI-powered layering recommendations (Pro feature)
• Maintain a wishlist of desired fragrances

3. Account Registration

You may use ScentBlend as a guest with limited features, or create an account via Google, GitHub, Apple, or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. Free and Pro Tiers

Free Tier: Limited to 5 saved blends, 5 collection items, and 5 wishlist items with rule-based recommendations.

Free Trial: New users receive a one-time 7-day trial with full Pro access. The trial cannot be restarted once used.

Pro Subscription: $4.99/month or $49.99/year, providing unlimited access and AI-powered recommendations.

5. Payment and Billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service, refunds are generally not provided. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for technical issues that prevented service use. Contact us at help.scentblend@gmail.com for assistance.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Upload malicious content or spam
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission

All content, features, and functionality of ScentBlend are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Fragrance names and brands remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Third-Party Content

Fragrance images and data are provided by third-party APIs. We do not claim ownership of fragrance brand names, images, or product information. Links to external shopping sites are provided for convenience only.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

ScentBlend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI recommendations will suit your personal preferences
• Fragrance data will always be accurate or complete

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScentBlend shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of ScentBlend after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
